Which build of Cairn answered you, and where to check whether each of our sites can be reached.

Working This is Cairn v6.244, commit 6100c4e, and it answered your request just now.

Cairn draws this copy when you open it. Whether each of our sites can be reached from where you are is checked at status.rvatechvisions.com, from your own browser. That page is hosted separately, so it can still be read when Cairn cannot.

Cairn's own incidents

  1. From about 2026-10-23 00:35 UTC to about 2026-10-23 00:37 UTC.

Cairn and the demonstration answered with an error page instead of the sign-in page, for about two minutes.

A release moved Cairn onto a new internal network and left the web server in front of it on the old one, so the web server could not reach Cairn. The fault was ours, and nothing on any client’s side was involved. A request that arrived in those minutes never reached Cairn and was answered with the error.

The web server was moved onto the new network by hand. Every release now starts the web server after Cairn and refuses to report success unless the two can reach each other.

Each entry is a time Cairn failed somebody trying to use it and the fault was ours. None names a client.
